Shavuot With Shalom

Shavuot with Shalom: A Weekend of Connection

Join us for our fourth—and most anticipated—Shavuot celebration as Shalom Macon welcomes Shavuot 2025/5785! This special gathering brings together our global family of Shalomies for a weekend of genuine connection, spiritual renewal, and joyful celebration.

Shavuot: A Time of Revelation and Renewal
Just as the Jewish people received the Torah at Mount Sinai, and the early believers experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Jerusalem, we gather expectantly for God to move among us. Shavuot represents divine revelation—God's voice breaking through and transforming His people. What better time to come together as family?

What to Expect:

  • Meaningful worship and teaching

  • Delicious meals shared in community

  • Relationship building across our global family

  • Time for both reflection and celebration

  • Opportunities to deepen your connection with the Shalom Macon community

Each Shavuot gathering has been a unique opportunity to experience God's presence in community. We invite you to be part of this special weekend, whether you're a local member of our family or joining us from across the world—you belong here.

Important Accommodations Note: A limited number of hotel rooms are available compliments of Shalom Macon on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't wait to secure your place at this special gathering! For more information please contact the synagogue administrator, Linda Plowden.

Shavuot Teachings

Evidence of the Spirit

Most people know the holiday as Pentecost, celebrating the giving of the Holy Spirit. It’s a day of great significance in the community of Yeshua’s disciples. But there’s something missing. A Torah understanding will help us find it. This series will take us into a more meaningful celebration of God’s appointed time, Shavuot, and a more powerful experience with the Holy Spirit.
